What to Expect
Troop 267 will lead teams of your Scouts at several stations where they’ll be able to gain practical experience doing what Scouts BSA does when we participate in Klondike or camp.
We will be teaching the following skills:
- Fire-building: Learn how to start fires from scratch and how to cook
- Knots: Learn how to build structures with lashings and stays
- First Aid: Assess victims, deal with hurry cases, etc.
What to Bring
- Dress for cold weather: coats, gloves, hats
- Water
- Scout book (if you need to be signed off for requirements)
Food
Troop 267 will be providing lunch for Scouts and leaders.
